These services offer your own phone number to received faxes and voice mail that is then sent to you as an email attachment. The basic service is free. If you want a phone number in your own area code, you will have to pay for it.
eFax - The eFax software is easy to use but lacks some important features, like the ability to save faxes in other formats. Their premium service costs $2.95 per month.
jFax - The jFax software has all the features you could hope for, but is a bit cryptic. Their premium service costs $12.50 per month.
